Christmas times during early 1960´s were easier Christmases; more "Chrismassy" Christmases if you like. The snow was whiter, the turkey fatter, you could always count on an Elvis and a Bing Crosby Christmas single, and your only worry was the omnipresent threat of global nuclear war. The Mad Men Band brings you back to that golden age of Popular Christmas Music with two original tracks: " Santa Send Someone Handsom For Christmas ", in which Little Miss Lonely makes a Christmas wish, in vain as it turns out, an " My Love (I Don´t Need To Travel) ", in which The Lonely lingers happily in this not-so-secret hideaway and turns out to not be so lonely after all. Both leadsingers perform back-up vocals on each other´s tracks, together with Doctor L, the Ukulele Slayer and Mr E. The Ukulele Slayr and Doctor L then take turns with lead vocals on Elvis´ well-known " Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me ", and for the finale, the entire band comes together to celebrate their Swedish (and Texan) heritage by gathering round the Doctor´s grandma´s little organ and executing the lovely traditional number " Tiderna förändrar sig men jul är jul ändå ".So let the Yuletide rock you in its gentle arms and let us rock you with a steady beat!
